The purpose of this thread is to highlight the car models that  manufactures operating in India are selling all over the world but stops from bringing the same to India.

All members do contribute to this thread- only consideration being

-the company should be currently selling cars here

-the model that is posted should have wide significance here

example

ie-the Mercedes Mclaren SLR cannot be posted here as its has no significant importance on a general scale.

-mods please make any changes/correction to anything said above.

Yaris Sedan is a true compeititor for the Honda city , forget 4 - 5 lakhs Price frame , i bet it would sell like hot cakes even if it were priced around 6 - 8 lakhs ex showroom price!!

but there were plans of toyota introducing this Yaris sedan and the hatch here at 09!

so lets hope for the best!

Another promising car that Toyota skips is the RAV4-this is a Honda CRV killer

-i was intrigued by the models on offer here in the UAE

-there is a mind boggling array of car here-for a limited buying public.

-hence the thought of such a thread came about.

THE FORD FIESTA HATCH VErsion! & FOCUS or the Mondeo

In european COuntries theres the Fiesta hatch version whereas we got the sedan version and India being famous for selling loadsa hatch backs its quite intresting to see FORD not coming up with an idea to sell thier hatchback version here though they already have it elsewhere!

Next part is the Ford FOcus or the Mondeo!

Mondeo was there for soemtime but then discountinued! it wud have doen better here with a lil price cut and the upadted version tahts  avaibale in Intl Market!

@Binoy, it must be quite tempting to buy one from there - to bring over here

-bringing one home is enticing but for the 100% + duty.
