The outlander could have offered at least 7 seats-which even the cheaper captiva and endeavor offers!

i agree with you Binoy. It might be a better car then CRV , but company like Mitsubishi in India must come with somthing way ahead then its much populer competitor brands to score some points & market share. Like having Disel engine or 7 seater..........

Hi All,

I test drove the Outlander, and would like to share my expeience. Out and out interiors are just great. The seating is royal, with ornage lit dash. Its just amazing to drive this car, its got everything that can be asked for in this segment. Music system is superb, and fosgate is really good. AT is nice, i couldnt try the paddle shifters as there was too much traffic and I wasnt very comfortable trying it. Throughout this forum Outlander has been spoken as the next gen offroader, so I tried a bad stretch with some pot holes and the car moved around with no issues. Braking is also very responsive and so is steering at corners. One thing though I disliked is the sound on bumps and felt like the complete dash was making a noise on each bump. Lastly the fuel consumption display showed an average consumption of 13lts for 100 kms. This seems quite a low mileage to me. Since I havent driven the CRV, so wouldnt be able to compare the two ... I liked the beige interiors which come in some colors only. Has anyone seen any Outlander on roads?

I have just purchased an OUTLANDER and find teh car amazing, it is full of features, like cruise control, heated seats, sports mode and much more. Of course better milage should not be over looked.

the CRV seems to be basic car in comparison to this car.

What disappoints me is absence of remote control for rear passengers and a USB port for music fo rmy children.

Outlander is more of the SUV. CRV is a beautiful vehicle but it is definitely more delicate than outlander. Mitsubishi has not established itself in India but in other countries, like the Gulf region, people mostly prefer Mitsubishi. The proof of Mitsubishi's premium quality is Pajero, the tough mean, Sporty SUV.

In looks and finish though, no one can compete with CRV.

Guys Outlander is now 80K dearer in price... Infact Mitsubishi has increased the price of Pajero also by 80K ! This is crazy, in this time of slowdown they go around hiking the prices

mitsubishi had come out with a prelaunch offer for the new outlannder for the first 100 buyers post which the prices have been hiked by 80K but i would certainly agree with the other that in terms of performance and feel its is a much better vehicle than the CRV!

The room is of n aluminum make which helps the car hold the road much better as opposed to many other manufacturers! Its is a pleasurable car to drive
