you see Ansh , when there is dificulty to choose ,  like both cars are very good! that means there is still one cofusion left on what to select  , we ask personal Opinion , and also my personal choice would be the CIVIC! but anyhow as i said both cars are good , i would suggest you to go to the respective showrooms and see the Altis and Civic Thoroughly and then have a test drive in bad roads  , see which one your heart and your family and friends like , and select that one!

Technically, Civic and Altis are good match for each other and technically - as for performance, handling, dimensions, space - not much of a difference. Between these 2 cars, its totally a personal choice. As rightly said by Sri, visit a showroom and see for yourself

@ ansh,

finally the choice u have to make which one to go with, both cars are good but civic is pretty low & u have to drive the car very carefully, if u make a single mistake than ur under body gets banged & altis has good ground clearance & no such issue.

altis has more features & comfort than civic & overall i feel altis better than the civic. civic is no doubt a good car with great looks & interiors but i personally feel it very delicate.

i have driven both the cars automatic versions & manual both & felt automatic is worth a buy & in automatic altis i felt better.

as ur run is limited i would suggest u to go for an automatic car as it will be of real use in tight city traffics & is fun to drive too.

Laura diesel is not the choice for ou since you drive only 70kms a month , petrol car is most suitable , and i still feel the Civic r the Altis would be the Ultimate Choise!

@ ansh,

laura is not a ideal choice for u as it is a diesel & u not have that much of running.

for prices where the laura ends, accord starts there & goes up.

accord is definitely a better car, if u can spend over 20lakhs than it would be a good option to buy & is a big car too.

so if u want a big car & willing to spend that much than the accord or else civic or altis is better.

if u like civic only & would be going with it & if u not in a hurry to buy a car than wouls suggest u to wait for sometime as new updated civic is due early next year, so in case ull get features compared to altis & a much better civic.

Go for a car which is better and u like. Dont think whether its launched now or 2 years back. In that sense, I admire Civic, which is still better than newly launched Altis even after 2 years. One way you say that u didnt find major difference, thats true. All changes cosmetic, will not make Altis young.
