The LPG tank in the Santro eco has a special ‘Toroidal’ design that allows intelligent use of space and makes larger luggage room available to the customer, the release said. Announcing the launch, HMIL managing director H S Lheem, said, “We have taken a conscious decision at Hyundai to make environment-friendly car and we are furthering our initiative of launching alternate fuel vehicle which take this theme forward. We had earlier introduced the CNG Santro and today we are launching the LPG version of our flagship brand Santro.”  Santro Eco (LPG )costs Rs 21,500 more than the existing petrol model. Needs to check how they have provided for the spare wheel. Anyways, Santro boot is far bigger and if smartly designed, hope that the wheel is not let loose as in the case of Wagon R. Soon we will have a news on Times of India / Economic Times that Spark LPG is launched. Then, it will be interesting to see the reviews in this small hatchs LPG category. Hope carwale provides the initial test drive experience of the Santro LPG vis-a-vis WagonR

hi every one, recently i booked santro LPG version GLS model vehicle. The car is excelent and when you run this car on LPG model the pick up and its performance is as similar as when you run a normal petrol santro on AC. its quite economical and as the LPG is an company fitted we should not be worried about its performance and further servicing i feel. Let us see how it goes in future.

I tried this and I had understeer, I tried that and I had oversteer, at the end of the corner I just ran out of talent!
