My guess is, its common to cars having lighter shade of dashboard. I did a test drive of a colleague's Honda Accord having black dashboard and found no reflection.

I am planning to have spark with beige interior. I have heard that there is glaring on the windshield while driving the car having the beige interiors ( dashboard).

And how about the maintenance of beige interiors in respect of cleaning etc.

I was looking for small car in this category and had almost decided in favour of I 10 IRDE as IRDE is peppier than Kappa in city.I also noticed that beige colour and the angle of winscreen of I 10 are really creating a serious problem of road visibility when the illumination level outside is low(rain, trees, night). It is a real problem and cannot be wished away as some people have suggested,it ca be dangerous since the problem is there. Now I am looking at Ritz VXi seriously.

While test driving  a Hyundai i10 in sun, it was disturbing to have the beige colour dashboard reflection on the windscreen.

Any suggestions/workarounds to avoid this problem?

Is hyundai planning to rectify this problem in near future by having a grey/dark dashboard top like in Verna and other cars?

Is it possible to move to consumer court on this issue.... i have been complaning about this since i bought i 10.... none of the company senior staff is able to answer my query to my satisfaction.  The reflection is so high during day and it might hamper our eyesight as well. i am unable to drive this car continous 2-3 hours.....

No wonder my cousin suggested me not to go gooo gooo gaaa gaaa over beige dashboards...

This was the very reason why maruti hasnt come up with beige dash for their sedans and hatch backs which have more slant on the windscreens, except the tall boy estilo where sun isnt of much problem due to higher seating arrangement...

They say no ones perfect...

live with it and enjoy life...

It is common with beige dashboard. Even i am also noticing the same with my new Aveo but its not a problem for me. Aveo has got dual tone dashboard . One has to live with it.

I just wonder why this wasnt checked before the car was launched with such a major issue...

I dont think beige interior is the reason behind the upgoing sales of i10...

if it is then i guess it is an irony...it needs to be rectified owing to the standards hyundai has in india...

Indians are indeed sensitive to such issues when put to light...

In india people expect a lot from suzuki maruti corporation...and time and again have been critic to maruti...but an issue like these doesnt seem to bother them as long as it is not maruti...

Biased janta i guess...

Never mind people should awaken to such issues...hope they do pretty fast...
