The orientation of the images is corrected, Binoy.

Guys, all the suggestions have been recorded. We will definitely consider them the next time we test a car.

Thank you all.

One more suggestion (off the track)... request Charles to participate in the forums as & when time permits him - the forum will benefit

I know you have a different role to play (Blog) & keep busy. But then, like I said... whenever time permits. It'll be great. Thanks

About the cars - the 1.9 topspeed is 165kmph - thats hatch back territory!

Binoy, we messed up the figures. It was 185.9kph and not 165! We generally put down the figures on a sheet of paper from VBOX while testing. The paper data is used for immediate use like uploading on the site. Later on we analyze the VBOX graphs. The top speed figure is noted at top speed only, so it's obvious to have shaky hands. The middle letter wasn't clear enough on the paper, it looked like a 6 rather than 8. Hence this mistake. When you pointed out, we analyzed the VBOX data and found out that it was an 8 instead.

In fact when I read the thread, I was a little surprised at the top speed, because I didn't test the car but I drove it for a good long stretch and I was effortlessly doing 160+. Our great testers would have definitely achieved a better figure! And really they did. 186.9kph!

I apologize for the mistake. Thank you Binoy for pointing out otherwise it would have been like this forever!

Banwari its great work you guys are doing-like i stated in a previous post, its an honor to contribute to the great work that is done here at Carwale.

As in the Volvo test, the material is top notch(even comparing international reviews)-having telemetry is a real advantage.

Our reviews can stand out by providing much more data that is generated from the Vbox, like lateral acceleration(lateral G),body angles(roll/pitch/trim etc)- none of the reviews provide all these data.

Binoy,

It may not be great but with you guys' suggestions and comments, we will definitely keep on improving. So, thank you for all the support. Appreciate it.

As far as including more VBOX data is concerned, I must say that the device is just too good. It gives you a lot of useful information. However, the justification behind not using most of it is the level of complexity. We have tried to provide the readers with most basic data that they can actually use. After this point, maximum of the data would be pure technical jargon for 95% of the readers. We have been keeping the other figures in this apprehension only.

But, yes we cannot afford to ignore those 5% too. We will definitely revise the specs sheet. Let's see what can be included without increasing the level of complexity. Thanks.
