How come no to teflon??

You have recently taken Dzire. Tell me what all small things like anti-rust coating, pvc flooring etc etc do I need to add. Mention even if it the minutest of the stuff.

Mention the check list to be taken care of while documentation....

Cooling Film:

You had earlier mentioned about putting film on the front wind shield. What all are the benefits that you get out of it. Why is it so costly :-o

Which brand would you suggest

Interesting debate on front cooling film. Link

Remote Locking:
What all features to be checked apart from window relay.

two problems with teflon

1)minor scratches cannot be removed by rubbing once teflon is applied(this is a big issue IMHO)

2)if parked in the hot sun-say months-have seen the coating to crack on the roof(but if you have a garage then its not a problem)

Checklist of documents:-

Temp registration forms
Insurance
Road tax challan
Manual
Pollution sticker
Battery/tyre warranty(if separate)
Invoice of purchase
iCATs key number
customer response form

Do get antirust done(the 5 year warranty one)-PUC matting and steering covers will be good.

Benifts are less heat in the cabin-reduced AC use and theoretically improved mileage.

3M(personally like air75 grade film) is a good brand(garware is a bit low quality-V-Kool is expensive)

Which is the largest window on your car? - Front Windshield right!- thats why it costs so much!

Yes gone through all that-the real issue is if there are bubbles then it will be a distraction-also reapplication(ie free of cost) if the windshield is changed for some reason.

Locking thats it-well if you are going for motion sensor will have to set the sensitivity of the sensor also.

Reconfirming on the stuffs
Dealer:
PUC matting - 1600
Antirust (Any brands, How much did it cost you)
Steering Covers(any tips) - Free
Mats - Free
Mud Flaps - Free

From Outside
Autocop/Xenos(With window relay) - Cost - ??
Mention Price with and without motion sensor.
Reverse Parking(color coded) - 2.5-3k
Side and rear windows(3M steel Series) - 3k
Front Wind shield(3M air75) - Cost - ??

Audio
Wires(Scoshe) - Cost - 2000 (From what you have said)
Amplifier - Give me the/your rank list. I think it would be 'JBL GTO1004'

Wheels/Tires:
Alloys: 5.5J/ 14 inches (Any more detail required here)
Tires: 185/70/R14 Michelin XM1 - 3500/Tire

Have we missed anything........

Total area of side windows+back glass would be far far higher than the front one. I think it is because of the material used for the front glass that makes the difference. (Correct me if I am wrong).

Planning to do all the setup from coimbatore. Any shops, streets, locations or ppl you know over there.
