Polk Speakers:
These are the model number for polk

Rear: db691 - Price 7500. Link
Front: db6501 components set. Price 8000. Link

Amplifier:

With the above setup, can i skip the amplifier. Most of the vendors recommended that i can skip amplifier if u don't have a sub woofer. With only speakers you hardly make the difference when amp is there and not there.

Wiring:
Do i have to specify that they use connectors. Or would they do it on their own.
If it is not in the usual package how much extra do i have to fish out.
According to the table i have to use 10 gauge wire right??

Alloys and Tires:
The Wheel size was 14''. They are giving set of 5.
Since he would be giving 5 wheels, should i go ahead with putting tires for all of them.
How much can i expect for my stock rims and tires.
If u would recommend just one of the above mentioned tires, which one would it be.(Looks are equally important as others).
Would u suggest me to go to coimbatore or kochi to look for the alloys and tires, provided i dont get the wheels and tires i like in TCR (audio assembly would also be done along with this.)

Ameem lets deal with the wheels first(much easier than the audio)!

Price for 5 HR wheels is good-but try and get only 4 as you will save 4K on the wheels which you can use for a decent set of wheels.

Logic being that with tubeless tyres the need for a spare is very less so why invest 4K and keep it redundant in the boot.

Stock rims will come to 750-1250/- for a set of 5.(not per wheel)
Each tyre can get 1000-1200/- so thats 5K min on a the set of 5.

Cochin would be a better place for both the audio install and option for the wheels. As its not that far from Thrissur i guess its worthwhile to make that trip.
Brand of tyres - personally prefer the Michelin Energy XM1+ as it strikes a good compromise between cost/durability and performance.

Audio:
I still have doubts on the setup you have in mind
Both the components and the ovals run at 100RMS and the HU is rated at 200RMS - so that will be pushing the HU while playing at higher volumes.

I would consider a better HU(the 5050UB is quite old) maybe a 6050(on grey-again prices will be better in cochin-i guess 9K is gettable) along with a decent amp. If you move away from Polk the price difference would offer you the option for a better HU. All said and done its the HU that really matter.
So another way to look at things would be cheaper speaker and add the money to the HU budget and get a good 2008 spec HU.

Have a look at this(little more serious stuff) but done at Galaxy Cochin-just to get an idea.

I couldn't find any difference between 6050(i hope you are not referring to the 2-din one) and 5050 apart from 24-bit A/D converter, Line indicator and spectrum analyzer. I donno what they are . Is 5090 out of picture??
If i am not wrong both were released at the same time. I wont mind putting 2k extra if it really gives something good.
Please go through this link if u really have some patience. This is a discussion about 4050/5050/6050.

So the final winner would be..............

Speaker:

Which speaker combination would you suggest me to move. Would it be a heavy downsizing....

The main difference between the 5050 and 6050(excluding the display) would be the Equalizer- its 3 band for the former and 7 band with bass boost for the latter.

More than that the 6050 has a built in LPF/HPF-low and high pass filter-its like having the separate crossover that comes in with the polk components already built in the HU!

There is also a better Analog to digital decoder-24 bit.

The 5090 is a mix of the other two-has a 3band equaliser but come with the LPF/HPF and bass boost also.
So my money would be on the 5090UB(as suggested initially) or if finances providing 6050UB.

Speakers - (this is my suggestion)

Front - llusion Electra EL6.1 Comps- Rs 6000-run at 300watts link

Rear - JBL GTO series-anything from a JBL GT5-963 to a GTO-638 will do cost will be less than 6K.

About the installs, even i was taken aback - by the amount of money people spend on their ICE!!

Wow,
That was a quick reply.

Audio:
Shall i go with 6050, and the polk(I donno why, I feels others wont match this) speakers that i have mentioned. As it is exactly at 25k budget(wiring an misc extra). Shall i freeze this.

(Mentioning a thanks would be minuscule. But I want to thank you with all my heart for your opinions.)

Do you mind posting any of your links in the tech2.com forum.
I am also a regular visitor of the site(not the forum).
I also have an interest in gadgets.

I am not a believer of 'white light' as it hardly serves the purpose-unless the HID xenon kit is used which will cost around 15K...replace the stock bulbs with Philips vision plus or the osram nightbreakers-cost will be 1K.

MGA:

I just had a word with the car showroom guys.
It seems JVC,kenwood comes with HU specially made for maruti.
so there wont be any warranty problems.

He also said if i put autocop(3500Rs) the warranty would be a problem.
Same for window relay. I donno if these problems are real or he is just scaring

me so that I go for MGA.

He said any non MGA parts, we would have to cut/loop the wires, which will make the warranty void. He also said the HU's that they have dont need any more wirings. I wonder how others wont have it.

Audio:

These are the prices I got from bangalore
without bill
5050 - 6800
6050 - 8600

db6501 - 5800
db691  - 5800

These prices are indicative. Can be +/- 500
I think i can go without bill.(Shall I??)

If these prices go, I would be able to look for an amplifier.
Suggest me some amplifiers with the special wiring it needs.(7-8k left in budget). Also mention the number of channels and which all speakers i need to connect to the amp.

Reverse Assist:
What all are the stuff that I need to take care apart from color coding.
I've heard ppl saying about warning sound, distance etc. I have no clue what all are the important stuffs and what all are optional.
Or I can also put it as what all can u get in the 2.5-3k budget quoted by you.
