  • Jetta Petrol 1.6 Tredline (Rs.13.19 lac) has 1595 CC that delivers 102ps of power @ 5600rpm & torque of 148nm @ 3800rpm.

  • Jetta TDi 1.9 Tredline (Rs.14.46 lac) & Comfortline (Rs.16.94 lac) have 1896 CC engines that deliver 105ps or power @ 4000rpm & 250nm of torque @ 1900rpm.

All the 3 cars come with ABS & Air Bags, and have most of the features one can thing of.  Here's a LINK wherefrom you can see the details.

@ Simarn , could you please give soem more details about what you are looking in Jetta , coz it comes with 1.6  petrol engine and a 1.9 PD TDi diesel engine which is also used in the Laura

Now you can see the features and specs and all the required field in link given by Pankaj!

Well , if you are intending to buy a Petrol car and wish to buy the Jetta petrol , i would strongly say NO , i have a very strong feeling that In the First Case the Jetta is Overpriced and moreover the Jetta Petrol will not have a good resale value , on the other hand The New Corolla Altis and the Honda civic fares better than the Jetta Petrol!

now coming to the fact of Jetta Diesel , i opersonally dint find anything great with the Jetta , instead i personally liked the looks of the Laura Better , but i feel both Laura diesel and Jetta diesel will have a Decent resale value , but the Maintenence and spares are on very higher side when compared with the Hyundai Sonata Embera in the same segement!

Chocie is yours!

Sri

hello simran,

jetta petrol is not at all worth buying & nothing great about it except the name of volkswagen, it doesnt has many features also when compared to the civic & the altis & is just a simple car.

if u looking in that price range & want a petrol than altis is the best choice, it has more features than wat u expect in a car of this class & looks much more classy than the jetta.

& for jetta diesel comfortline, i feel laura l&k AT is much better.

as per ur concerns i feel laura is better than jetta, both have same engines & gearbox but laura has whole lot of more features, as laura has picked up well in the market it will have a better resale value. looks depend on personal choice but i feel laura has better & muscular looks. maintainance for both will be almost same, 1 paid service will cost u around 7500rs.

but than too if u like jetta only than go for it, u r buying a car for urself & wat u like u must buy.

in jetta diesel which 1 u r considering, automatic or manual that is trendline or comfortline.

& do tell us ur requirements like wat wil be ur daily usage, wat are ur main priorities in a car, how many people are going to travel, so & so, so that we can help u out appropriately.

embera is also a good car but when compared to laura, laura scores more.
