they must do a shootout of same segment cars so that new buyers can come to know about all the cars at the same time & they can decide which is better.

for eg. shootout between- optra magnum diesel & skoda octavia diesel

           altis & civic both manual & automatic

           spark, alto & santro

            i10 & wagonr

            swift, palio & vista both petrol & diesel

 

this will be very helpful for the new buyers.

Normally, test-drives (professionals) don't give neck-to-neck comparisons (except for some references). They just mention the facts, findings & views of each car independently - leaving for the others to compare & decide.

@ pankaj , i am talking about the comaprision , this is what i do , and also learnt a lot from Autocar india! that really helps! From Exteriors , gearshift , interiors , 0 - 100 , Ac , ride and handling , comfort and convienince and so on , i tell you , its really most useful! this will give a Detailed study for new car buyers as well!( if i am not mistaken)

i am planning to buy the all new honda city. i will definitely want to see he road test/ review of this car so that i can have a fair idea of what i am buying and should go for it or not

@ Varun since the car is just launched , it wud be too busy with all the top testers , so within some days i am sure cawale is gonna test it , just be patient

Hi Deepam, why Wagon R is pitched against i10 and Spark v/s Santro Alto. In fact, wagonR is bigger only in headroom. Otherwise, Santro itself is bigger than WagonR and so Spark. It must be shootout against all on the points of : Comfort, Handling, Performance, A/c, mileage, Space, Boot space etc.
