Thanks but that's an old news (diesel version ruled out for the time being).  The position is status-quo as of date too - nothing revealed yet.

On what grounds you guys think that SX4 diesel would be launched by this year.There is no information from any of the sources on this regard.Moreover an Interview of a spokesperson from Maruti mentions that it would launched by Mid of 2010..

1.3 Multijet engine would be bad option for sx4. A car with such a heavy kerb weight would need a minimum of 1.6 Multijet diesel Engine.

Or a 1.3 with proper VGT would also do.

SX4 diesel is set to hit INDIAN markets in August this year.. It will have a 1.3L DDiS or a 1.6L DDiS. The latter would be much better for the sheer size and weight of the car else it would be an underperformer. Have a look at this link




Why break rules when following them is much easier!!!
