my dear friends , i agree wid all of u but u knw wat at the end of the day somewhere in the corner of ur heart  , the big brand name matters , so VW is having far better brand image than Skoda. hope u guys r agree wid me

Prabhjot, just a brand name does not matter - delivering on the ground matters. Particularly when you are the one with whom they mess, you will be clearly convinced of this.

A case in point is Fiat - they have a huge name worldwide, but they were a pariahs as far as Indian scene is concerned. It is only when they teamed up with TATAs for service support that they have  been able to salvage a bit of their lost glory.

Therefore, Naam pe mat jaao, apni akal lagao

To add, VW does have a small premium when it comes to brand value.

But Skoda cars are better vaule for money.
