Since your Uncle is buying the Petrol go for the Civic , its too good and damm better than the Jetta , Honda reliabilty is too good followed by an excellent resale value and Maintenence is cheaper! hence go for the Civic!

Cheers,
Sri

@ Deepam u have got it wrong Buddy , the Japanese are better than the germans ,  i mean for instance as a car freak i am , have been geting feedback from Mnay Skoda owners that the Maintence of thier car is too high , i mean the serivcing , also the spare parts are damm expensive , i have not Driven the Jetta , ubut i have been driving the Civic for more than 6 months and its truely Exhilarating , The styling of Civic is too good , interior too is good and beter than the Jetta!

Well the upcomming Corolla wud be a Tight competitior to the Civic and i say both are really too good cars , however waiting would make sense , even if you dont wait and buy Civic would also make sense! so choice is left to you!

Cheers,
Sri

if i get a 1.8s model which some showroom may have stock than should i go for it or 1.8v is good? because price difference is more between the two & in features there is not much diference?
