i went to see the altis & after seeing it overall i felt it much better than the civic, it has more features & space than the civic, boot is also big & in looks it just looks like a mini camry.

from outside it looks very good & once u step inside u get a feeling of sheer luxury with soft & comfortable leather seats, wooden finish all around, it has 2 glove boxes, the dash seems to be well sorted out & steering has many functions like audio controls, than for MID which displays ur mileage, how much kms u can run in this much fuel & all, in this also for the rear passengers there is a flat floor just like civic so more space & seating comfort, for drivers seat u have power adjustments, steering is tilt & telescopic & i felt its cruise control just awesome though it is not as much usable in indian roads but its functioning i found awesome, than u have xenon lights with power washers & much much more, in features it is far away from civic & as per me it will be a sureshot winner on indian roads & will give a pure competiton to civic.

 

so now civic watch out.

Yes Deepam, you are right. With so many features, definately it is better. But, in a car in Mumbai or lets even say India, who cares for this.

I dont think it has the xenon lamps, if it has maybe in the top variant. Further, I have seen the Altis here and its presence, does not feel like that of a Civic. Be it inside or outside.

Inside the cabin also, you say it has flat bed, Civic had the same 2-3 years back. It will not be far that Civic starts providing these features. People may go for Toyota Altis looking at the price benefit and the features said above.

As a car, any day, Civic is better (I Feel).

yes raju, it has xenon lamps with power washers, u felt civic better & after seeing the new altis i felt altis better, till civic provides all these features till that time i think altis will be more preferd by indian customes compared to civic, & for indian roads civic is too low, the under body touches here & there.

both are different in interiors, civic's interiors feel young & sporty whereas altis's interiors feel rich & classy with that luxirious feel.
