Volkswagen Jetta launching 16 July 2008 (Now Launched)

It is great to know that Volkswagan Jetta will be soon coming to India, I read about this sedan and i am eagerly waiting for its launch.

Per J.D.Power ratings please note the following comparisons

Initial quality   Honda 4/5     VW 2/5

Vehicle Dependability Honda 5/5    VW 2/5

Performance and design    Honda 3/5    VW 4/5

I think these results pretty much are self explainatory. While VW may look and feel more attractive, It is Honda that is far superior in terms of quality and dependability. These results are accepted industry wide as the benchmark. You can make your choice!!!!

Hey KK , thats a very well put up , and to add soem points,  the Honda came No 1 in reliabilty in the US and VW was maybe somehwere around 10 , Toyota came no 2.

VW is a great in every sense. Both their models Volkswagen Toureg and Passat are doing great on the Indian roads and Jetta will be a great success too. But can any one tell if it will be completely imported or assembled here locally.
