Hi, From my friends' experience, I have never met a Jetta owner who did not complain regarding the maintenance issues. Lots and lots of reliability issues on the cars.

Granted they appeal to a certain segment. They are cool and can be fun to drive and even have high milleage non some diesels.

I really think this will fail in india if they have the same issues. After sales service costs are also very high like typical german cars.

sachin Yes. Of course when one spends so much money on the car, it is expected not to give any reliability issues. Maintaining German cars is generally heavy on the pockets. I hope VW would fix all issues reported elsewhere in this one.

The problem what I feel is tht In US the standard of the Car is much better than In Indian Version of the same car.
I dont rem the Car But i Read the same issue. The US and Austrlian model was much better quality than the India Model for same car. And on top of that we pay more to this Manufacturer.

Hope this situation will over come soon.

I agreed with Kalpesh! i REALLY want a Civic (most probably the Type-R), but the Jetta does look good! It would be sweet if you dropped some 19's on it!
