vw passat vs bmw 320d vs merc c-class

Thank you everyone for your help but we are settling for the passat.

Respected Liya madam, Even i like the merc 220 cdi but there are many luxurious features lacking in the merc. the passat is german, its vw and vws are known for their reliability. i have developed a liking foe vw now (dunno why). 

it has some fabulous features and to name a few: 8 airbags, abs, ebd, tcs, cruise control, Auto Hold function (thts available upwards from e-class), Electronic Parking Brake (again upwards from E)

16" Pirellis (only found in lambos and ferraris), Cornering Headlights (Lights turn acc to the Steering Input), a whole lot of sensors and i will elaborate more when we take a test drive in a couple of days as some more features have been added into the current trim level dsg s.

Congratulations on buying the 5; but i guess u would have been better off if u went in for an a6 as beemer's run-flats make sitting in the back seat a hellish experience!

Also i am getting 3 free services on the passat

do i need to say more?

vw passat is a very good car infact best in its segment, in case of merc & all u pay more for the name & dont get thesemuch featues but that 3 pointed star has its own status.

passat is the right choice u have made.

a friend of mine said passat will be good if its for a period of 2 years or so as it seems they are gona replace exiating one with some different crdi egine or something

anyway i like the the bmw 320d then the c220 when i went for test srive today to bmw showroom   and also think it will be better choice then passat

Cars above and at the price range of theses cars are bought not because one is better than the other but because of what  they are.

Thanx all of u ,as nw. i think the VW passat is the right choice & by comparisson to a merc & bmw its value for money as it has more features compared to both of them...i too got confused in what to buy b/w  bmw 3-series/merc c-class/vw-passat....

Still if there are any more suggestions regarding my choice to buy a VW passat b/w these cars please post it here ,i would be highly obliged....
