santa fe will have a competiton with the captiva but after thelaunch of fortuner it will be hard for captiva & santa fe to express themselves because fortuner is also a good car & will sell like hot cakes due to the toyota's badge on it & give competiton to captiva & santa fe.

i have seen the santa fe & is a very good & competitive product & the main advantage for it is its powerful diesel engine which will score it higer above its competitors & if it will be priced competitively than it would be a tough competiton, but expect it to be at around 18-20 lacs.

I THINK IT  WILL BE THE BEST CAR AND IT CAN DEFEAT CAPTIVA AND HONDA CRV.BUT HYUNDAI SHOULD KEEP ITS PRICE RANGE BETWEEN 10 LAKHS TO 15 LAKHS AND IT SHOULD CONTAIN ALL THE FEATURES LIKE LUXURIOUS CARS HAS.

I hope your wishes about price come true but I don't see much chance.  Because it is a 6 cyl petrol eninge, which competes with Honda Pilot among other full size, luxury SUV with all  bells and whistles and safety features..

Hyundai should keep the price between 14 to 16 lakhs, otherwise it will be a flop like Tucson.

If price more than 16 lakh, people will opt. Japanese brand.

Correct.

Everyone who expects to see a 194 bhp, 421 nm diesel engine 7-seater with 10 airbags, dual-zone climate control, ABS, TCS, 7-speaker premium audio with 4wd (TorSen) for 10-15 lakhs should have their heads examined.

I doubt if this will be a success because we Indians are probably the most racist people in this world.  It wont do well simply because its Korean.

I wish it werent a CBU, because that is going to drive up its price.  That said, it will beat the pants off any of the so-called "SUV" in the market today <30 lakhs in space, specifications, comfort, power, maintenance costs and probably economy too.

You're looking at a 7 seater that will run circles around most cars within 25 lakhs on the performance front. Obviously the blokes here happily publishing their lack of knowledge to the world have NO idea what the R-series CRDis can do.

Maybe its best that they dont.  With great power comes great responsibility, and those who cannot handle their mouths and their keyboards responsibly shouldnt be let anywhere near real power.

Keep those wheels turning!

korean price is around 23k US$ ~ 36 US$. If the indian price is more than 24 lcs, I think people will prefer Toyota Fortuner, after all Fortuner has bigger look than Santa FE.
