hyundai i10 - Audio Setup

Hi Ravi, I am Prasad and I am also from Hyderabad. I am also thinking of buying a i10 and looking at a Music System.

Could you tell me where this store Sprocket is? Is it in Secunderabad? Or if you know a good store in Secunderabad Pls do let me know.

 

Hi I am Venkatesh using i10 for the past 2 months. I already have JVC DVD player and 4 JBL speakers installed (CS2165).  Now i am planning to upgrade to decent sound alteast a Oval speaker to deliver better bass.

My Question is where did you installed the Sub woofer and the Oval speakers? I don't want to disturbed the luggage space. Please suggesr me..will i get a rear tray which supports Oval and Sub woofer?

Hi i have i10 and i installed the below ones as they said Oval speakers cannot be fitted in i10 cars

JVC DVD player 

4 CS2165 JBL speakers for both front and rear doors

Without disturbing the luggage space is there any way to install Oval speakers. Please suggest me. Also i am very interested on how you guys have fitted the Woofer in i10.

My name is Yogi. Am thinking of going for the i10 Magna version which comes with the factory fitted audio system - I like the look of it being integral with the car rather than a system outside. Please advise if the i10 audio system supplied by Hyundai is good enough to deliver?

Is it that for the price difference we can get much better systems outside?

Well, the audio system that you get with i10 is good, but for the price difference you will have a lot of options in open market - you will also have flexibility in terms of going for the model that fits your requirements better rather than take the one that is available with the factory fitted unit.

Sorry guys, Its been a while since I've logged onto Carwale...

I'm done with my installation which costed me exactly 40K.

Here is the description

HeadUnit : Alpine 9886 (from US)

Amplifier : JBL GTO 75.4 (from US)

Speakers : Front - JBL GTO 607C component speakers

                  Rear - JBL GTO 637 coaxial speakers

Subwoofer : JBL CS1204

Wiring : Stinger 4 GA wiring kit (from US) and Monster (purchased in India)

Damping : Yet to be done.. will be damping the front doors and the boot.

 

Thats my system compatible to IPOD and USB (fully functional from HU only). Amp is running the front components and subwoofer. Sounds sweet and blasts the hell out.

6 inch Components or coaxials fit into the doors of the i10 as it is Euro II std.
If you are planning for a subwoofer, you will have to forgo atleast half of your boot.

If you have 4 speakers on all the 4 doors, why do you want to install ovals speakers again !!!!
sounds strange to me.. can u plz explain as to what you are looking for

try a pioneer head unit, jbl front components, pioneer ovals at the rear, sony xplod 4 way amp and a kenwood sub....ive got the ditto combination, works gr8.....

i have bought i10.i need to install a music system,my budget is 15000.please suggest me the best.
i have selected Pioneer-P6050Ub(Headunit), JBL-GTO937 Speakers.
do tell em whether i should istall the speakers on the tray..or get them in the door slots.do teel me anythning better from what i think.
also,i m planning for a Llumar windscreen film.is it a good idea.
hope u guys will provide me with an answer.
