Pankaj Prasad City: Bhavnagar	Swift Sedan's price would be between Rs.6 to 8 lac - depending upon the model/version. It will be offered with 1.3 ltr petrol engine from the Swift & 1.3 ltr DDIs Diesel Engine.

Banwari Lal Sharma City: Mumbai	Hello there, It's almost confirmed that Maruti Swift's Sedan/Saloon version will replace Maruti Esteem in March this year. Initially Maruti will launch 1.3 liter Petrol engine which might be accompanied by 1.3 liter diesel engine as well. Price will be kept in 5.5-7 lakh bracket. The car will compete head-to-head with Tata Indigo and Mahindra Renault Logan.

very much true Banwari , good info man , the engine is same as the one used in the hatch but with an extra Boot space , hoping maruti wil get a biege interior in the New swift sedan and some better goodies too
