Thanks Sri.

Pls answer following:

1. What about the Warranty, will it effect the same?

2. R these ones all tubeless tyres?

3. It shud be 185/70 R14 pr 185/60 R14?

4. Is there a possibility that the instability at high speeds could be due to some additional reasons apart from tyre. I want to be totaly sure before going in for the extra spend on tyres?

5. My dealer told me that few other customers too have reported this problem to them. Is it possible that Maruti itself may go in for better tyres & also replace it for the existing customers?

Thanks again for all the help.

Cheers

Well , the waranty wont be Void , coz even i put 185 " tyres on my swift , and many people do dat , and i am sure waranty wont be affected

3)Go for 185 / 70 R 14 , 185 / 60 will make the car more lower , so better 185/ 70 R 14 !

2) yup they are tubeless

4) the 185 " tyres has better stability than the present tyre which you ave and thts the main reson many of em upgarde the tyre , so its worth the cost you pay

5) by constant feedback of many customers to maruti regarding the tyre size , they might come up with 185 : tyres for all variants , but this i dont know when ( depends on maruti guys to think!!)

you can also keep in touch with yahoo mesenger by just adding me by the folowing id

Dzire is getting appreciation from every one; it is because of its spacious and luxurious interior. Though it looks like the stretched version of swift, it still carries it self very well.

Here is the further update from my end. I changed my tyres from 165/80 R14 to 185/70 R14 of Bridgestone. Did not get the G3 ones but S700. Got the deal for Rs.10000/- after buy back of my existing tyres after a 500km run. The existing tyres went for around 5000/-.

The drive quality has certainly improved & I feel more comfortable to drive at hign speeds now though didnt many chances to do it for a long drive, but for some short periods that I went till 90kph, I could make the difference.

Yesterday I checked my mileage & it came out be 9 which I feel is not bad considering the fact I drive in 1 of the congested part of city Powai - Goregaon(W) & also the engine is still naive to give better then this. What do you guys feel. Is it good or it shud have been much better. My car will be going in for the 1st service tomorrow.

Cheers
