Does anybody have details regarding 'weight loss during races'

It will take time to regain the weight - obviously.

No. The racer will lose weight during the course of the race and will take sometime to regain it.

The regaining time depends on their diet and physical training.

The racers always have to undergo phyical training like in any other sport. Although the intensity may vary.

I hope it is clear now.

nono...u dint get me....

after takin a look at thoe physics formula's..i was guessing....the weight of the person comes out to b less at the time during the race....because of all that pressure/momentum/force/G force/capital G small g...constants....(arrghhhhhh ...physics !!!!.......sorry i dunno nethin abt it)....

n once back to standart stationary positioning..he is bak wid the same weight.

haha...Ameen...u made it sound sooo funny !!...oops....just cant stop laughin at this !!!....hehe.....

Lemme clarify.

We are talking about the mass and not the 'weight' of the person.

Weight does vary based on 'g' but the mass doesnt. The point made above is that the mass of the person is reduced during the course of the race.

It was mentioned as weight and not mass because of the fact that mass is commonly referred to as weight.

To sumup the mass of the person after the race will be lesser that his/her mass before.

It is said that after an F1 race, the driver loses around 4-8 KG's.

Also check post 199, page 20.

@Binoy: Can you enlighten us on the 'weight loss' thing.
