Honda city vs Hyundai verna diesel

Can any one suggest which of above car is good for monthly running of 1000 km per month.

Honda city anyday........Its the best car in its segment for city driving and a little bit on highway.......

 

For a 1000 km in a month u dunno need a diesel version......it doesnt makes any sense.......

A monthly running of 1000 kms is too low to invest in a diesel car and if you to, it will take a lot of time to recover that cost. Honda city definately a better buy.

Thanks for feed back.What is minimum running required for buying a diesel car.Heard that new generation diesel engine does not require that much running.

yes new engine does not require much running as their ancestors used but still u require about 1500 km..... Moreover,u pay xtra foe diesel engine and pay more for the maintainence,and if the running is less then u end up paying more even if the diesel is cheaper than petrol......

Without a doubt .. the hond a city... dont even think twice...

Would like to add here that Honda City too i guess would be having Honda City made available with diesel engine soon. That would definitely make the Honda City an unbeatable proposition. Development from the Frankfurt Motor show had shown the same.

If this comes to India soon (hopefully) then we would see all other competition vanish into the Antarctic regions.

 

THe City with the diesel engine to INDIA is a doubt ,

Hey lets tell ur buyer a simply thing for making him take the decision on his next car easily,

If your driving is above 1200 kms a month  go for the the VErna Diesel

If your driving is below 1200 kms a month then go in for the CITY

You oculd also try the SX4 ZXi,

My running will be 1200kms.I also doubt if honda will bring car with diesel engine.But i hope it does since all other major company are bringing car with diesel options.

So what should i do go for verna or city
