how to modify my email id

hi...how to update my email id with a new email id.

iam not able to do..

I dont think we have that provision on carwale since here your email is your login ID.

There is no provision to update your mail id for the reason already mentioned by centaur above. The only way to change it is to create new id with new mail id. You loose your current post counts though, but not the information or knowledge. Best Wishes.

Hi Mods,

Could we have a functionality to migrate to a new mail id, if its fairly easy to implement?

I face the same issue, having registered with my work mail id (thanks to my addiction to CW which makes me stick to it in my free time) ,but I plan to change my job so my work mail-id would no more exist! need to change it to my personal mail id.

The email ID is only a login ID and I think you should be able to use the work email address to login even if that ID is not active. However if you want to get alerts from carwale then it might be a problem.

It's not there as yet but sounds like fairly easy to implement. Let me talk to the tech team on this.

Similar system of being able to change the email-ID (and hence the login exists in LinkedIn professional networking site).

I also request this feature to be implemented.
