@Chandan - As Sridhar mentioned, only new Swift has VVT engine. Ritz uses the older K-series engine for the petrol variant. So, the engines are not the same for new Swift and Ritz. Old Swift and Ritz share the same engine.
Anyway, we dont really know how better VVT is compared to the earlier K-series. When Hyundai came out with VTVT engine in the new i10 (Kappa 2), they announced as if mileage is going to improve dramatically, but nothing much happened.
It may not be worth spending 70K extra for VVT and some small features. IMO, Ritz is somewhat reasonably priced, but Swift (especially the new one) is a bit overpriced.
