can some one please clarify these two doubts of mine regarding civic MT:-

            1. does the car lock in auto if you dont lock it manually or using remote key ?

            2. In my car the yellow light on button for circulation with in car on AC control panel remains on always, even if the AC/blower is not on,is this normal or a prob ?

Psv,

There is no speed-sensitive locking mechanism in the Civic like there is in SX4 and some other cars.
The yellow light you see is for the 'in-car' air circulation which can be changed to the 'fesh-air' to take the air from outside and throw it in the cabin. The light remianing on is normal.

Shift anywhere between 2500-3500 rpm range to get a good mileage.

Also, do keep posting your experience with the car. Will be of immense help to other users. You could also add to the 'User written reviews' section.

Cheers!

thanks ashish, what i mean for car loching is this-- the dealer said that after you finished with driving we generally lock the car manually with key or if have remote locking on key we use that.he said if you forget to lock the car after three minutes the car would auto lock, i tried it does'nt hapeen so the doubt that whether this a defect in my car or normal.would surely keep you guys posted, till now only done 250 km

dear all,

My new civic gave me a overall mileage of 12.5 kmpl over first 700 kms, with 70% driving in city and 30% on highways and with AC on for 80% of the total driving time. Is this OK or i shud expect any changes after first service at 1000 km ?
