there are two sides to a coin , there is nothing called a perfect car, the mileage of 10 in city is okay for a 1.6 litre car  all it's competion excluding the city is more or less same . The reversing bit is true though

I own sx4 zxi & till now it has done more than 2000 kms.

As rightly stated , you can find some problems in every single car around the world , but you have to put positive points first & negative later on.

as far as i am concern , my height is 6 ft 2 , there is no car which can match comfort except sx 4 , further it is safest , since it has air bags , abs & 16 inch alloy wheels .

although in reversing & while taking u-turn , visibility is a problem , but you have to settle some where.

anyone having any kind of question can ask me , since i may have the experiance of driving it more than 2000 kms in last 19 days,

well you can expect avg of 10 kms / city & 12-13 on highways.

It definately have an edge over Honda city , it is unmatched with its pickup / cabin interiors / safety of airbags & abs , which are much if we look the kind of unsafe roads in india.

safety should be the major concern now a days , fuel efficency does not matter if it is 25% lesser , which proabily matter only if you drive more than 100 kms daily.

I have the same opinion as Rajesh, mainly the ABS and Dual Airbags are undoubtedly added advantage even as compared to City ZX VTEC.

Hi, I have booked the Sx4, just wanted to know how bad is the reversing?I have a very tight parking spot in my building with only inches for maneuverability . Are the flaws managable or will they become serious issues..overall I liked the experience.

Guess Maruti was aware of the parking issue even before the launch of this car. In SX4 accessories brochure (http://www.marutisx4.com/download/sx4accessories.zip) refer "Reverse Parking Sensor" on Page 9, it just seems the solution for reversing and parking.

I have booked a SX4 and do plan to explore this accessory
