Linea shows the dream of fiat to get their hands over indian market by their dream car. But they can improve it style little more on the bonets, bumbers and u can use little more sharper head lights. Also u can use a sporty looking alloy for linea.

Fiat reentered India as a strong brand; Fiat Palio Stile was a great success and is still doing well in terms of performance and style. As Fait do have a pipeline of cars to be launched in India. May be they will get their hybrid version to India. They company has few new launches in hands like Fiat Bravo, Fiat Grande Punto, Fiat Cinquecento, Fiat Linea which will soon hit the Indian roads.

I hope someone from Fiat-India sees this post. If they price Linea around the same as Verna (i.e. cheaper than SX4 and Fiesta) then they will be back in India big time. With the doubts about their service quality and fuel efficiency, pricing is going to be a lot more critical than it usually is.

Friends I am very much interested to own a Palio Stile (Stee lay) 1.1 SLX. However, on seeing its low sales figures and reliability on TATA, for after-sales support, has turned me off.

I hardly see any Stile's on the roads, here in Mumbai. Is it worth investing our hard earned money on a company who is making lazy efforts to place its foot in India?

Palio 1.1, though a good car with execellent built, space/comfort & ride-quality/suspensions, is underpowered for its size - generates only 57ps (power). Even smaller cars like WagonR/Estilo, Santro, i10 & Spark engines deliver more power.

It's, therefore, sluggish - especially when driven with AC on and/or at full load.

By the way, this thread pertains to Palio Linea - for further discussion on Palio 1.1, I would request you to post your query in a new thread - here's a LINK to do that - just type a tile, post/type your query in the space provided therein below & save it.  It will be noticed well & responses will be received promptly (you will benefit).
