All fiat lovers do not rush for Linea once it is launched. You will find lot of free loolypops coming along with it. Early birds are going to be loosers.

Fiat can never sell and succeed with current systems and processes even if they have the best car in the world.

Fiat thinks that Tata service alliance is helping. No way! You have to send your car thrice to the service station for paid service for silly oversite of service tecnicians and still get charged for it ( Rs15,000 total ). Pathetic. Service stations are so few and so far away.

I own a Fiat Palio beauty for last 6 years and will change my car in next 3 months. I have vowed never to buy a Fiat car. Product and service image is no where near Maruti and Honda.

FIAT !  ARE U LISTENING. REVAMP YOUR SERVICE. Work on your image and prove it with deeds. Only then launch the italian beauties.

Yes customer service of Fiat has been pathetic. Even GM and Ford is much much better better. I have found quality+service of GM & Ford product just excellent. Wgen they commit service they mean it without any excuse. So whatever one spend extra on GM & Ford product it is a value for money. I need to replave my Ford Fusion in November and i was very closely thinking to look at Linea. But I feel I will continue with Ford or look at GM.

@ nanda,

its not like that fiat is at all bad, but they need to improve & now with tata's tie up they will improve with their services as it has great cars in the lineup for india & fiat products are excellent.

with saying all this we are breaking everyones trust & i think this is not the proper approach. like this no one will go & buy fiat products & day by day it will have to close its shops in india.

with tata's tie up fiat has got good backup & in india tata's service backup is not bad & with better & better products coming in future, for sure they will improve.

just give fiat a chance to prove its presence.

Amin, the least Fiat can do is respond to the queries. Some PR person can join the forumnad show that Fiat is a freidnly customer oriented organization. Yes they were king in this country once but no more now. I have been following this forum and I was happy to see still lot of loyal crowd. Well I wanted to go for linea when I saw it's review. But now I have almost changed my mind. In the end what one needs a good friendly OEM vendor who is helpful in case of trouble. rest is all takeb care off. Frustration has changed our thinking.

I agree with Deepam, I just went to a Fiat service centre today and the Palio Multijet was easily the best in its class (against Swift, Indica Vista, Indigo, . You just need to find the right service station to service your car. Fiat are not fools to go on launching cars without beefing up service as they are banking on this JV with Tata to upgrade their fallen image in India. As they have earlier said they do not want the volumes but ultimately want people to trust in them to give the products so as to raise their image with wonderful cars like Punto and Linea to become competitor to its rivals. I mean looking at Linea's features they compete with Skoda Octavia, Civic and even the new Toyota Corolla Altis so we have to wait and see if they are spot on with the price as well. So give fiat a chance all those who are changing their minds to buy Honda City iVTEC or something else at least wait till the Linea is released in Nov-Dec period.
