FIAT LINEA - coming 2008

     I fully agree with your view.. I am also FIAT lover. I use Sienna & Palio at present. But present policy of FIAT, is much confusing. I have seen Linea testing on road. But cann't understand why they are making delay for it...!! or whether they are under pressure of TATA...

TATA's does not seem to have a comparable product to the Linea-so how can they be under TATA's pressure?

Binoy Tata's will never put pressure. But please understand, once the same Engine is fitted in INDIGO and it perform even to 80-85% of its eficiency then given the price advantage, and very low maintenance cost of Indigo typical Indian will go for Indigo which will put selling pressure on Linea. Yes even then certain Fiat lover will go for Linea but numbers will be under question?

I dont think  they are underpressure from TATA , & I am sure that company like FIAT & TATA must have dome some homework on their products & launches. If there is any truth that TATA is putting any pressure then it will be another joyride for Fiat here in india , which will not last long. But i am sure that is not the case. The problem here is FIAT inspite of a brand name is not able to connect with people. Its always the people here in India who go outof their way to coneect with FIAT. This is the main reason that FIAT had to take help of TATA. Its prooved that TATA has never produced any great car compered to Fiat/Honda etc etc , but with the advantage of Disel engine & their strong netwrok & not to forget the TATA brand they always encashed the products. FIAT always had an advantage earlier but it seems even till date they have not learnt their lesson. God bless them .......... & us as well ........

Today i got the following mail from fiat ceo

Dear Ajay,

As of now, what I can really confirm is that we are on schedule to launch the car this year. Diwali or not is still an issue which we are contemplating. Believe me that you would really appreciate the car for its features and performance as well as ride quality.

Strong words, coming from Rajeev, but iam not sure if the company has learnt its lessons well........given its experience with palio/sienna/petra. Not only the marketing boys at fiat, but the after sales team need to brush up on the consumer sentiments as well. I have been a fiat owner for a few years now. There's no match for their product, people know it. Reading buyer sentiments in various consumer forums is proof enough, i would even hazard a comment saying, the brand's sold in the community (500 or no 500), just that consumers are scared to mess with their service centers again, which leaves a gaping hole in consumer confidence. Hope Mr Kapoor whips up the after sales team to work their magic for marketing teams. That said, i would wait for Linea to appear before i open my wallet to any other car.

Well stars don't favor Fiat. Global economy is at its low. So as rajeev sais Diwali or no Diwali, this Diwali is a real "Diwala" for many. Bank interest are high. Cash liquidity is at its low. Competition is already taking away the potential clients. It is ONLY soem black Magic can turn the tide in favor of fiat. Looks they have missed the bus even though Linea looks to be a product with great features but at a very high price.

Arent you tired of people asking you same questions??? When you plan to get Linea out of your secret DEN??? Sir , please com out in open.. Speak to Media, give us an confirmed month, & please dont tell us before this year end!!! Either it has to be said in October?? Novermber or December????  Before this hype even from Fiat lover like us get Evoperated , please act on peoples Demand!!! just an idea, call few of us from Each city to ride your car once !!! Or somthing which will conect you with people......... Try & do some out of the BOX idea.......

By the way I sound over anthusiastic now..........

this is a poor strategy of fiat.

 

aise to tarik pe tarik dete jate hai par kab launch karege bolte nahi hai.

 

like doing this the genuine fiat lovers & who are waiting for this car & willing to buy will think twice before buying.

 

fiat will have to step forward & give belief to customers & earn its reputation if it wants to go longer in indian market.
