Deepam with due respect to TATA's they have never never topped the list of customer satisfaction. So just joining hands with TATA does not mean you will be giving the best. FIAT will have to demonstrate it. First thing they can do is establish the confidense by giving warranty better than GM, provided they are sure that quality is that good. It is a tough market and FIAT will have to work very very hard.

Deepam if you go thru the history  Fiat UNO was the best selling Fiat car in the world. they sold over a million vehicles before bringing inot India. But it failed miserably in India. GM vehicles are not that great. But the way GM treat it's client solves half of the problems. This personal touch is what Fiat and Tata's lacks. These things we must learn from American Organizations. Yes Fiat has been a good product. So that will have to take all these into consideration, price, warranty offer, customer relationship etc before they put Linea in the market. It is a good vehicle and Fiat can really create terror for competitor. I wish Fiat all the best.

The Linea is COmming with the 1.3 L MJD diesel engine that generates a powerful 90 Bhp , so power is delivered though not as good as the Verna but betetr than Present 75 Bhp present in Swift , Vista n Palio Mjd!

even i thought the Engine capacity of the Diesel engine would be big saya round 1.6 L Diesel engine , but sources havve confirmed abt 1.3 L MJD that produces a meaty 90 Bhp to be launched with Linea!

Aditya, there are a lot of things in your post that suggest that your source is unreliable. For example, MJD 1.6, 1.4 T-Jet engines, 6 air bags, etc. for 9 lac. That is little hard to believe, though I too wish it is truely coming on 1st October.

Maybe Opender, but maybe i misread it as 8.7 instead of 9.7 lacs but seemingly as fiat is on a down side and developing in india, it is sure to offer glorius discounts and an introductory price, though the launch is confirmed slated for 1st week of october, as told by fiat care line themselves with the features i mentioned below... Hope its launched soon.
