Hey Guys ,

I learned from a inside source at ranjangaon, that the Fiat lenia is already up and ready to roll, This source also saw and tested the car in the plant, says except the gray interiors, the car was superb, the launch. rate is around 9 lacs ex-showroom, for 1.3 multi. diesel version, it is said to have the Fiat Blue & me technology along with the music controls on steeing wheel, will be launched on 14th or 15 th of the september.

Cheers

Sushil (p.s. I own uno as well as palio both diesel versions and I am equally exited about this car)

Linea has been testing in India for the past 1 year-very unlikey that the launch will be in less than 10 days-if only i was wrong!

Hi All,

Fiat is always known for high quality satndards and their cars show them. Rock solid built and extremely dependable cars.In terms of technology: Most of the small diesel cars running on indian roads share their tecnology. I think Linea wouldn't be an exception as this vehicle was made according to european standards, which are the toughest ones to meet.

Well if FIAT has to establish in ndia then it must follow good competition marketing practices for Linea. Since it is proven vehicle it must:
1) Price range should be in an around GM AVEO.
2) It must give complete free service for 4 years, while GM gives 3 years.
3) It must maintain a high standard of customer service.
If all reviews of Linea are true FIAT should able to establish its roots very well and look for a booming long term business. Otherwise it will be another big failure for FIAT and may be the last one.

fiat is a very good brand & produce worldclass products but in india it failed due to its after sales service backup & now with a venture with tata i dont think there should be any problem for fiat to establish its product range in india.
