The mobile site will solve your problem. I am thinking of putting the forum in the next version of App as well. Let's see.
Thank you so much for the app, look forward to use forums on the app soon
I am sure the app and mobile friendly site will help improve the CarWale experience...
Hope to see facebook 'like' and tweet this symbols on the forums soon
Facebook Like and Twitter buttons on Forums is a nice idea. Will have them implemented soon. Thanks.
I liked your application. Good for buyers though. Here is what needs to be corrected quickly:
Also give us option to get on-road cost and way to connect with nearest dealer.
Moderator, can we see this being corrected in next version (when it that?)
The next version (1.1) should be out within a couple of weeks time max. It's already developed and is in beta stage. It has a whole lot of bug fixes and feature inclusions. Two of the four things you talked about i.e. Used car photo enlargement and repeated filling of form for getting seller details are fixed in this version.
We have already started working on the v2.0 which should be out within next one month will have the two mentioned features along with a couple of more and a fresh look and feel.
Thanks much for the feedback. Really appreciate it.
Developing an app for Carwale.com will surely be a huge leap forward as far as the online community is concerned. Push notifications for forums, notifications of new cars added, latest reviews, news and anouncements can all be done in a more cohesive manner. Looking at the increasing number of smartphone users, this surely can be one thing that this portal should look forward to.
Here is an update. Mobile Edition of CarWale Forum is now available for Beta testing. The URL is as follows:
Please share your feedback.
Thats great news.
I tried to login on my mobile but failed. May be its a GPRS problem. Will report to you later.
The first thing I noticed is there is no zoom option. I'm not aware if its a handset related setting or website related . But when I tried other sites, zoom option was available. BTW I'm having Sony X8 on Android 2.1
Thats nice to hear I did notice some changes on my mobile a few days back and found a slightly different GUI. So, are the java and symbian users able to post now?
The website should work well for most of the Android phones, iPhone and any other phone using a version of Safari.
Please give feedback if it's working (or not working) for some other platform.
