Just looking at the bonnet design makes it look like and i20. I personally did not like its headlights that much but the rear end looks good enough. The headlights could have been a bit bigger or atleast projector headlamps. Interiors look great and so is the 6 speed manual

Such a nice car put down by poor handling

Excellent review.  Will wait for more detailed data on Indian roads.

Hyundai is introducing 1.4 L engine in Indian market only to compete with Dzire and similar low end sedans.  I think Hyundai is selling this successful small family sedan in global market for quite some time.  In USA`market, Accent/Verna (in India) is the cheapest/introductory level car from Hyundai for two decades.  They do complete face-lift every four years without changing the name, like other global car makers.

In reckless auto accident, it is not important who is RIGHT but who is LEFT.

Very good looks indeed and has no resemblance to the current Verna. Strikingly different.

Hyundai is very good in identifying and adding the new fatures that customers really need - like reverse parking sensor, BT connectivity etc.

Only thing still seems to be the unpredictable nature of the car and its dynamics as well as not so great suspension or ride quality and handling (this is a common observation of many of the first reviews done alreday)

The Verna a lot like the Hyundai Sonata 2011 model available in the states and that model has been a runaway success.

The pictures shown in this review do not match the renderings on the official website thou. Check it out.. http://www.hyundai.com/in/en/Showroom/Flash/SRFOVERVIEW/DF_IN_SR_JD_080313145313.html
