Hi everyone,

Toyota is still tight lipped as far as the launch of Fortuner is concerend. There's been some change in the management which is also one of the reasons why the Japanese giant is still 'working' towards launching the new Corolla here which should've been introduced as early as March this year. The Fortuner, we think, will be in India only by 2009.

what i have heard about japanese is that they are most punctual and they have shown also in launching there qualis, corolla, etc. here[fortuner] they have failed. if there is any production problem than company can go for CBU route for there real buyers who can not wait and ready to pay high price.

I just bought my wife the 2008 Toyoya Fortuner deisel 3.0 4WD - today. This is a buitiful vehicle and my wife loves it. She is a short women but the seats adjust and she has command over the road. It is well worth the 35,000.00 USD I spent. Kevin from Thailand.
