New Arrival

Hi All, this is Naveen Manager Wego Motors Thailand, being Thailand leading auto mobile exporter, i export a lot Toyota Fortuner to other countries, as Thailand is major base for Fortuner and Hilux Vigo, Fortuner price in thailand for Automatic version is over 1.25 million Thai Baht, so i dont seam India can sell around 13-15 laks, unless other wise it should be manufactured in Thailand and when it is manufactured in India, Toyota will not allow to use the same specification, so now its hard to predit about Toyota Plans, lets wait and see.

THOUGH TOYOTA MAKES GOOD VEHICLES WHICH ARE RELIABLE WHAT HAPPENS IF THE VEHICLE NEEDS REPAIR OR EVEN SERVICE? THE SERVICE QUALITY IS EXTREMELY BAD AND YOU ONLY PRAY THAT YOUR VEHICLE WOULD NOT NEED SERVICE , WHICH IS NOT POSSIBLE. HENCE AS PER MY OPINION IT IS BEST TO AVOID TOYOTA ATLEAST IN INDIA. MORE SO WHEN THERE IS NO BODY TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR VEHICLE EVEN ON COMPLAINING ON THE COMPANY WEBSITE AND IN TURN YOU FIND YOUR VEHICLE IS GIVEN BAD TREATMENT WHEN U GO TO THEM AFTER THE COMPLAINT. THE WHOLE SYSTEM IS SALES ORIENTED WITH CUSTOMER LEFT TO MERCY OF GOD EVEN WHO CAN NOT PREVENT THE VEHICLE FROM NEEDING SERVICE.

Dear friends, I am giri, Toyota Fortuner has been delayed since 2 years for unknown reasons. It is hight time toyota realises the market needs this vehicle desperately other models like Honda CRV, Endeavor, Captiva and Tucson will be swept off their feet if this fortuner is launched this year. As you know we indians love SUV's if this car can suck the top end market dry imagine what will happen to our Granpa Safari and Ageing scorpio, hope the other manufacturers are listening. Toyota will not take long to launch it as this Fortuner is based on IMV platform which shares major components between Hilux and innova. Since innova is already a Big hit, it wont be long before this model and Hilux is launched in india. i am only expecting this car to be launched in early 2009 rather than in late 2008 as the depreciation will not make it easy for the Suv buyers .  Friends i have seen and travelled in this SUV, Believe me It is great, i will be the first in the Line to be picking up from the showroom when launched in india. So coming to the point of cost, i only wish it is launched between 12 to 15 lakhs On road price range if it goes beyond that toyota will lose a major chunk of scorpio and safari owners. well lets wait and watch what toyota is upto.
