Please Help: Car for My requirement - i10, i20, swift, Figo

Hi

I'm planning to buy a car in another 2 to 3 weeks time. Iam really confused with the features and variants of different cars

Could you please let me know which car would fit my requirement? I drive around 800 to 900kms/month (30% highway 70% city)

My requirements are (Priority wise)

1. Ride Comfort (Very important for me. I need soft suspension on bumpy roads/patches)

2. Less gear shift (car should drive well in low speeds@3rd gear just like diesel cars)

3. build quality and interiors

4. maintenance/service

Mileage is not top priority though it would be preferable if the car has decent mileage

If you are looking for diesel,figo is the perfect car!It is well priced has good ride and handling mixture.It has decent space and good milage.It is a all rounder diesel.

If you are looking for petrol,choose between i 10 and swift. Swift has got new 1.2L engine,rather than that both cars are pretty competitive.Both are really nice cars!

As per your requirements - Polo , Punto & Figo are much better than others. Polo & Punto , both have excellent ride & build quality. Polo has much better fit & finish & high speed stability is also far superior . Punto has poor fit & finish . Both are short on rear space though . Where as Figo is a very good combination of almost all factors & it is real VFM. Better TD all these three with your family first . Let us know your experience. Still nobody can beat Maruti in terms of ASS but I think it should not be the only factor while deciding the car.

Go for Figo ZXI varient it has almost everything. If you want ABS with EBD and airbags then go for Titanium but ZXI would be better VFM. Polo or Punto are good cars but expensive as far as Figo is concerned.

Figo is the real value for money car at present whether its petrol or diesel one. The space is good and has got booking of 25,000 cars in three months.

Thanks a lot for all of your suggestions.

Now I have narrowed down my choices to Figo Titanium TDCI and Swift ZXI

Though both are in different category (Petrol and Diesel) both are in the same price range

Now I would like to know which one will be better in terms of Ride/Suspension, Comfort, Easy to drive in city (less gear shifts)

Please help me out in choosing between these two cars

Between the 2, Figo should be the choice as it is much better than swift overall, its diesel so will save you a lot on fuel bills & is stronger, sturdier & much more comfortable than the swift.

Go for Figo without any 2nd thoughts.
