For the budget the V-kool range and higher end 3M and Llumar films are good options.

hey thanks Binoy....but how do i know the film they are putting is genuine llumar/3m film...nd out of these two which is better 3m or llumar...both on quality and pocket...

I m not goin for v-cool because in my budget what i get is a low end v-cool and heat reduction is important as i put up in delhi and it gets unbearable in summers..

The Packing material will confirm the Original Material.Insist on opening the film packet in front of you.

VKool site has an option to confirm the genuinity of the film by entering some Number.

I would suggest you go for govt approved % 3M for side & back.(Prcatically thesde fims were not useful in Delhi Heat which i observed )

Max heat comes from front one.

So you can invest in it form Vkool.

If you go for 3M then at the dealer genuine 3M people will come to apply film

hey Kartik.. thanks for the info but what do u think about goin for llumar for side, back and front...as u said 3m was not effective in Delhi ... and i have an impression that Llumar is better than 3m...

plus i would not want to go for v-kool even for the windshield because if i go for 70% reduction in that then it cost over 10000

Its not that 3M is ineffective.Its the 70% law comliance that makes more difficulty.

Its really very difficult to differenciate 3M or Llumar.You can get any one of them

Hey guys !! its a very nice forum and i just went today to check out filming options for my new superb.

Basically it was 3M RE Grey colour and new garware NF Lite in grey and charcoal with ceramic technology.

I am very confused they say NF is for non fading which i really want but dont know if NF really means non fading or just a coincidence and i think its with around 45% heat rejection.

Do 3M RE films fade or change colour after 2-3 years.

Please inform which is superior 3M RE or NF Lite they cost almost same 3000/- for 3M and 2500/- for NF Lite for sides and rear.

Is there anything with more light transmission than 70% VLT for windscreen with good heat rejection.

I would appreciate a speedy reply cause i want to get fixed i a day or so..... thanks

3m anyday better than garware.

Vkool := J80grade-83%VLT, X75-77%

Llumar := air80-78%
