From Where Abhishek,u have got these quotes.At Noida or in Delhi.

Got these quotes at Noida. I reconfirmed with the dealer that its a RE and not a SP film which he is providing as I came to know that sometimes the dealers install a 3M SP sunfilm in place of the promised RE film.

Most probably would get the films installed this Sunday.

And ya these quotes are inclusive of the front windshield.

Garware icecool shield cost is 2820 with 50% heat rejection and 70% VLT. Always check the watermark of garware icecool shield on film for genuineness. And take the certificate from the installer other than warranty card to show to the pandu's on traffic light if ever required.

I had mentioned in my previous reply that the quote is inclusive of the front windshield film cost.

Just to reiterate the quote is 5.5K for 3M RE 50 for the sides, RE 70 for the rear and Icecool shield for the front wind screen, all inclusive including installation. It took a few phone calls and a visit to the auto market in Noida to get this quote.

As rightly mentioned by you, the MRP for Icecool shield is around Rs. 2800 but with a bit of haggling you can negotiate a better deal. Cant quote the individual prices as I negotiated for the full package.

Once the film is installed I will give a confirmation if the stuff was genuine with all water marks, certificates and warranties and also the feedback regarding the fitter and how it works for a Swift (the ECU to be specific). Also how RE being a metallized film affects mobile communication (which is a concern)

Thanks for this great thread folks. If anyone wants to get their car filmed in Hyderabad, best place would be Crossover near RTA office, Secunderabad close to Trimulgherry. I got my Maruti 800 filmed with Garware International Lite (satisfies RTA rules and 1 year warranty) and asked for Garware sticker on the front glass.

How is it compared to 3M RE 50/70 combination?

 I have installed garware ICE cool shield and icecool elite.but I am not happy with the performance of it. In the afternoon it still feels hot in the car.garwre cliams 63% heat rejection for side windows.but I dont think it reduces 63% heat.

Even glare from my rear glass is also still  more though there is a sun film.Only good thing is ICE cool shild gor front screen. pls comment on thia .share your experience
