Hi experts,

I have zeroed in on to buy a Cruze. Am confused between LT and LTZ. Excepting the sun/ moon roof, which is a fancy item and of course my kids would love it, I dont see any other reason to spend 1.5 lakhs more on a LTZ. Could you pls enlighten me why I should go for a LT?

Rgds

  1. Leather seats and steering wheel
  2. Front Fog Lights
  3. Size of screen for audio info display
  4. Cruise control
  5. Eyeglasses holder
  6. Door handles (body color with chrome)
  7. Moisture-sensitive wiper system (Rain Sensor)
  8. Floor console (2 cupholders) with sliding armrest
  9. Rear park Assist
  10. Passive entry passive start
  11. Power windows with express down for rear driver side window
  12. six speaker premium setup
  13. 4-way adjustable front seats instead of 2-way.
  14. Of course, sun-roof/moon-roof.

Whether worth the difference of 172k ex-showroom? you decide.

Have a look at the comparison between the two - All Features - Comfort, Interiors, Exteriors & Safety (ignore Safari - sponsored link).

Edit: Didn't see Krishna's post above while typing/posting mine.

Thanks Pankaj and Krishna. Do you have an idea of what LTZ costs on-road?

Pankaj,

But it gives me different prices - like the ex-showroom( bombay) price of LT - is it 10.98 lahs or 11. 8 lakhs? I am confused and thats why I posted a question. Pls help. I do understand dealers will give you discounts but can the published prizes vary by a lakh? I guess not.

I checked for other cities as well.  Yes, there is some error in the database wherefrom it's extracting the figures.  Such a huge difference cannot be there - for sure.  I will bring this to the notice of CarWale.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

PS: In the meantime, you can check the prices from the official webpage.

Get in touch with CW on phone - they have a setup that helps people buy a car from beginning to end completely. I am told it is a good way of  avoiding all heartburn associated with buying a car, but obviously, you can't extract the last drop of discount. Other than that, it looks like a good idea - they will also tell the exact prices with ongoing discounts.

Pankaj, since you have found the error, can you help me in understanding it. I tried but I couldn't find anything that looks like an error.
