I bought a Swift with a Dealer fitted LPG Kit when the price of PG was 25 approx, in just a Year the Govt has raised the price to 34.45/litre today.

This is as much as deisel.

I think LPG was a wrong decision.

Well Same here i got my car Wagon R converted to LPG when it was 28 and today when the rates in mumbai have peaked to 36+ its actually costlier then petrol in terms of cost per KM ...

It seems we have made big mistake by investing in kit as per my calculations my car gives average of 11 when running on Petrol in Mumbai traffic but the same gives average of only 7 on LPG in mumbai traffic .....

Hence it doesnt make sense to invest some 25-30k for LPG which is not as widely available as petrol & which also reduces the driving experience ...

On Plus side if someone has more of Highway run then LPG makes sense as it gives better mileage on Highway run ....   when
