Query on Steering

hi All

   Is it true that power steering can be turned only when the engine is on ? Recently i noticed that in my 2005 Santro when the engine is off its very hard to turn the steering. When the ignition is on , its fine. Please advice.

Yes, it is so in all cars/PS, and, by the way, it is, therefore, not advisable to switch-off the engine while the car is in motion.




Honesty is not a Spare Wheel that you pull out when in trouble. It's a Steering Wheel that keeps you on the right path throughout the life's journey.
