Suggest me Car

Dear All , i have a buget of 5.50 lacs for car.

 I am planning to buy Swift Zxi , plz suggest me a car in that budget other than this or Swift zxi is gud.

More thing.

If the book a car in January 2010 , then model no will be 2010 or 2009

In the petrol version Ritz is better than Swift .Go for Ritz as its suspension is more suited to daily needs(slow speed ride is softer).In case you are aspeed freak,go for Swift in Jan or Feb as the existing 1.3 l engine will be replaced with 1200 kb which will be bit slower.

Why dont you think about Punto Dynamic.. costing about 5.50 L

you can go for Chevrolet Aveo UVA also.......

Model year depends on the year of manufacture and not on the year of booking or the year of buying.

So a 2009 made car booked and bought in Jan 2010 will still be a 2009 model car.

If I had the choice between a Swift ZXi & Ritz ZXi, I would blindly go with the Swift, purely because of the drivability & fun factor of the Swift.

It all depends on your reqmts. what are you looking forward? features or low maintenance or..

Swift zxi is a good feature rich car with Quality Maruti ASS and low maintenance. I'm not so sure about Tata Manza (i personally never did find any Tata, cost effective). You could also look at the FIAT Punto emotion (since i feel you are looking forward for a Petrol Car).

Binoy has already made it clear with regard to your second question.

PS: If Manza and Swift Zxi are your choices, why don't you look at the Dzire.. yeah a little costly for the zxi version though.

Reading the above thread, I would go with Nikhil.

You can opt for Fiat Punto or Swift Dezire thou it may bite your budget a little.
