If your usage is more in highway, go for Swift Zxi, or for more city use opt for Ritz Zxi.
If you want to look reliablity outside Maruti, go for i10 Asta.
I would suggest Dezire/Manza only if u really really want that dikky.

You will start getting 2010 manufactured model only if you book on or after April 2010.

Hi Vaibhav,

First of all; A Diesel car is the option when you are a frequent highway rider or a long runner. A Petrol car would be the best option if you have more of city rides because although fuel prices are high, petrol car would be low on maintenance and trouble free!

A dezire vxi lacks climate control A/c, ABS and EBD (although you have VXI ABS model too). Rear deffoger and alloy wheels from Swift zxi model. Please correct me if 'm wrong.

Anyways wishing you all the best in your buy!

Thanks

NIk!

Exactly Vaibhav.. dezire vxi reference was only because you were comparing with Manza.

The best option is: If you are a small family, with not much to carry in your boot space normally, don't hesitate just dash for the Swift Zxi, very fun to drive, low maintenance, VFM car with all the features or more you can find in a similar budget sedan. (like climate A/C, not even a Fiesta has got...yeah but i just chose fiesta because 've been so used to hatchbacks that i crave for a sedan experience.)

I would never advise to sacrifice Safety features for the boot.
Also note that though dezire can be technically called a sedan, but it is practically just a swift with dikky attached. So one will never get the feeling of an actual sedan inside a Dezire.

Hi Vaibhav,

You can also give a try to i20 Magna. Go for a testdrive for all cars you sortlisted and then decide accroding to your preferences & experience from test drive. My suggestion would be choose i20 or Punto.

I think the Manza Aura + for 6.75 lakhs is a great choice. its got all the safety and comfort features that one asks for in a sedan.. and plus its tata so it will not be very costly to maintain the car.. great space as well,.. go for it ..
