Buying tips for disiel cars

i am using ford fusion tdci since from 2 years, before that i was using maruti zen petrol it was very smooth to drive i like to enjoy driving in that car.But my question is in fusion tdci  its pick-up is verylow & i have to keep on changing the gear in bangalore traffic,its maintenance is very high.So i request u to give some tips for buying diesel cars in future because i am already confused in petrol/diesel my daily running in city is 60-75kms & long drive is 500-700kms & also i need legroom comfort because my ht.5.11".which car would u suggest me?

Hi Deepak,

Nice that you have a fusion. Unfortunately, its spares are really very costly. The number of units fusion selling is increasing month by month. Hope ford will do something about fusion spares.

For you, the options are:

Hyundai Verna

Fiat linea

TD both and check your comfort.

With a 10 L budget you'll get SUVs also.

Hi Deepak,

Fusion's spares are really costly. Even Fiesta's spares & service cost is much cheaper than the Fusion (because of imported spares, thats what I heard at ford dealership).

If you want power than consider Verna or else consider Optra Magnum Diesel. Cruze is very good but you have to stretch for Cruze.

No Manza or Linea (you want power & 10 lacs budget).
