I own honda city 1.5exi yr2000. Its time to change its tyres (all 5 inc. stepney).

I was advised to go for alloy rims tubeless tyres. I regularly drive in city and once outside city for weekend vacations like poona/nashik and long vacations like nagpur.

I havent fixed any budget coz anyways i have to change tyres and wont take any chances as for quality. But let me know the approx costing. Also can current tyres be exchanged for any discounts?

Also where can i buy the same and get fitted?? Any reliable shops in mumbai?

Nirmal,

Michilan X1 are suppose to be the best in market but on higher side.

You can also consider Apolo.Bridgestone,Yokohama.

If not Michilan then I would recoomend Apolo Aceler.

You might not get any amount for your old tyres. Get your rim cheked throughly & go to a shop who attends your car well & cleans & check your rim throughly.

Also do not foget to retain your OLD Tube in your car. WIll always help you some day in case of Tubeles tyre.

I m really new to all this modding things so plz bear if i ask some silly questions. Smile

that day i saw yokohama and was impressed by the looks.

BTW which brands from Apolo.Bridgestone,Michilan X, Yokohama. have lots of varieties to choose from in terms of looks???

Should i opt for broad tyres or normal ones and what size?? How does tyre size affects the car??

I dint get you as you said (Do not foget to retain your OLD Tube in your car. WIll always help you some day in case of Tubeles tyre) How can regular tyre tubes be used with tubeless ones?

And last but not least names of some shops where i can shop for the same will prove very helpful.

Prefer Michelin & Bridgestone than others. Better go for Original size.
