Hi Friends,

Even I am taking the delivery of my car today. I have been told 6050 is an old system. And have been suggested 2190 instead with combination of Polk speakers in front door and in the rear tray. This is costing me 14.5 k.

Is this a good combination to go with.

Please suggest, need ti buy it today.

Best,

Amit

Congrats Amit!

Eventhough 6050 is an old model, it would be far better than 2190. If you are very particular about warranty go for *1*0 models. Try 3190 which has 2 pre-outs. If you can stretch your budget go for 4190SD. I have 4190SD in my vista with JBL 508c components and JBL 938. Sounds great!.

Have look at this post for the setup you have it in mind.

Hi Sai ,

I too bought i10 Magna a 2 weeks back and done the ICEing last weekend.

my setup is

HU - Pioneer 4190SD ( i was looking for a HU which got front USB and ipod/iphone Support) 8k

Front Comp : Hertz DSK 165    4.5k

Rear Coaxials : Hertz DCX 165   2.5k

Installation + Spacing = 1k

total cost : 16K

I really like the sound quality and enjoying it  . I listened to JBL comp and Hertz and i felt  hertz was better (my personal choice )

if possible listen to diff brands like POLK /JBL/Hertz and decide yourself

Regards - Marar

I guess you are aware of Tecnokrat on Nelson Manikam Road. They do professional ICE setup. But pricing will be on the higher side!!

Anyways, Good Luck Sai! Wink.
