I got a full tank of about 33 literes yesterday. The needle was just short of F on a autocut full tank. Is this normal or its just due to air in the tank or something? I just hope no one stole my diesel.

Yesterday, I had tankful of petrol for my Fiat Linea with auto switch-off option, twice in Bharat Petroleum company-owned-company-operated outlet in Krishnagiri [Tamil Nadu] on NH 7 and once in Puducherry [Pondy] in Bharat Petroleum pump operated by Aurobindo Ashram.  In all the three occasions, the pointer was just below 'F' mark.  I think, it is normal in Fiat Linea/GP, nothing to worry.

Hi Anshum, I saw your incident of the missing pin from the fuel rail and your regained confidence in Fiat. It would have shaken you a bit though on your brand new car. Problems do come up in life. What is important is that how the problem has bothered us. Fiat should only not make us helpless and hopeless. They should be on their way to success this time.

I agree Opendro. FIAT picked up my hopes almost before reaching ground zero. I feel it is not at all a problem at the companies end but the problem lies and arises at the dealerships. If more of FIAT dealerships open up and not just TATA FIAT ones then I guess the situation will improve dramatically.

I certainly have regained my trust in FIAT. I mean come on even big players like Maruti dont have a solution to such problems in less than 24 hours, that to by sending their guy home. Mostly they grudgingly change the part under warranty but that too after a lot of waiting and hue and cry.

can some of the guru's guide me on this:-

fiat says for installing any kind of accessory, read ice, lights, etc an approval must be taken from the dealer. when i asked the dealer, he directed my querry to fiat. they said they will purchase the equipment, test it on the car for 2-3 months and then tell me if its advisable or not. what i am no able to understand is that why do they need to test already tested ice stuff already being sold worldwide by famous brands like blaupunkt, pioneer, jbl, etc.

moreover the stock HU is a blaupunkt in the top end variant of the GP. The ice from my old car is gathering dust and they are just not obliging. please guide me as to further action.

i cant live without a good ice setup. the stock speakers are almost crying to be discarded in the bin.
