Yes, it's sort of your status message in the community. Right now it purely depends on No of posts in the forum!

Perfect observation, Anshu.

Good observation. But what is the meaning behind each status message? I could not make out anyting other than 'New arrival'.

hmmm...let me try explaining the names, as per my observations...I home Ban and Mods can further elaborate/correct it.

New Arrival -  The name is quite self explanatory. A new car newly launched. And so are you in the forum. Example - Cruze

Driven - This means that you are a car and has been driven now. Its no more a new car sitting quitely in showroom or your garage. Example - Fortuner

Road-Tested -  The car(You) have been road tested now. That means that you are quite well familiar with the forum members or the car is known to many people in the region. Example - Linea, Punto

Long-Termer - Nothing much related to car but still the cars which have been in market for long time and are quite well trusted and so are you in the forums. Example - Swift, Dzire, Vista

Beloved - The name is quite self-explanatory and you/car are the most beloved car in the market (member in the forum). Example -  Honda City, Accent, Scorpio, Safari

Best Seller - The car which is the best seller(just like books) for past many years and so are you in the forum. You are here for so long and are quite well known and any thing told by you is the end of the discussion. Example - M800, Alto, Mercedez, Indica

Legend - The word is again self explanatory and is for the car which has been there for many many years and is still loved/appreciated/owned by people for whatever cars. And so are the members due to their experience, love, warmth they share and spread in the forums. Example - Ambassador, Vintage cars, BMWs, Mercs, Audis

Mods - Ban, Pankaj, Binoy. This is what I think fits to the names given as per post. Hope my feeling is correct. Please do elaborate/correct, if required.

Thanks Irrku for starting this thread.

Today I got my status changed to Beloved from Long Termer and I was also trying to understand meaning behind this terminology. The meaning of most of terms is pretty straightforward and apt as well. However I not sure term Beloved!

I would have been happy as Long Termer or Best Seller ( am I asking too much!Foot in mouth)

Thanks Anshu for that excellent piece of work. The essence is as in the examples.

What more that could be done(and we will have a chat on that) is the inclusion of the time on the forums since registration.

This because we do understand that there are very many who 'read' more and 'type' less! This would take a longer time to implement(if at all decided upon).
