Sachin, if the problem is not resolved even after a visit to the factory, well then according to me, you have been too patient.

Well, to be frank, i am a die-hard FIAT fan and even i'd recommend you take this to the consumer court.

Why should one suffer for no fault of his?

Thanx Mr. Anand... Well going on for legal action it will consume too much of time and till then the vehicle will be unattended.... and given the fact that the tyres are wearing every 5000 kms ... how will i use it .... it will be around 2.5 Rs per Km ...and you know these guys from FIAT know this and thats why they are arm twisting the customers ...... and thats the reason I am using the net and this forum to aware people and get support from all yo ufriends so that the issue is resolved ...... also wanted to ask - why should i accept a New Car which has gone for repairs so many times ........ Want your support friends ......

Sachin , who are the folks from Fiat that you have contacted so far ( apart from Rajiv Kapoor ) ?

From what I read in your posts - they have taken the car and tried to fix things. What according to them is the technical problem , what fixes did they do when they took the car ?

A company ( any company for that matter - be it Fiat or even Maruti ) will replace the car as a last resort - till then they will try to repair it. I do understand the pain that you are going through - but sorting this out will take time. Since ypu are located in Pune, how about meeting someone senior from Fiat in person ?

Try to become a member of http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/PalioUsersIndia/ and post your issue there - there are experts on the forum who might be able to guide you.

Thanx Shankar... Dont want to name anyone in particular on the post but have tried to contact highest official from FIAT and TATAMOtors but invain .... they are just saying that we will repair it ... tell me how many times they will do the same... I unwillingly agreed to send the car to the plant once again on Monday i.e. 16th Nov but they are not saying confidently that what if the problem is not sorted out again ,,,, I am a member of PUG and also the Fiat club on Yahoo user group... Mr. Ganesh Baliga is kind enough in helping me ... But I am totally disheartened with the FIAT .... and would strongly recommend not to buy a FIAT vehicle to all my known peoples who will be going to buy a vehicle .... Infact thinking of disposing off (selling) the punto once it comes back from the plant ..... will go for some TRUSTED BRAND... who value their customers....

As said in my earlier post I have unwilingly agreed to send the car to FIAT plant for repairs .... But as I will continue to suggest all my friends and known peoples not to go for a FIAT vehicle ... this is all because of all the experience I have got after I have purchased Fiat vehicle... and also I am felling that I am been cheated ..... they sold me a defective vehicle and now they are just repairing it ....... isnt it a sheating selling a defective vehicle..... and I have to be satisfied with a vehicle which has gone under repairs for so many times ..... some of the people say that its LUCK... I will sya its a Penalty on me for opting a FIAT vehicle .....

Hi Nipun, as mentioned in my earlier posts , I had no other choice than give the vehicle to be sent to FIAT plant ONCE Again ...... Its going to be sent on 16th Nov..... HOPE the problem is resolved ..... atleast I can sell the vehicle then ..... and I wont ever think of going for a FIAT again
